ABOUT THE CARPENTERS UNION

Mission Statement

The New Orleans Carpenters & Pile Drivers Local Union 1846 along with the Louisiana Millwrights & Machinery Erectors Local Union 729 strive to unite all carpenters, pile drivers, millwrights, and machine erectors working within our jurisdiction.  By doing this we can provide our past, present, and future members with a better quality of life. Training, family health insurance with dental care, and a retirement pension are part of our member's benefits package.

Meetings

Union Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00PM.  Executive Board Meetings are held 1st Wednesday of each month 6:00PM. Financial Oversight Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30PM.

Meeting Location

Union Meetings will be held upstairs at the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60.
